The Gig
As a Last-Mile Runner, you are the face of ChipChap in your community. You take over where the buses leave off, ensuring that packages reach the customer’s doorstep. This is a hyper-local gig designed for people who know their neighborhoods best.
What You'll Do
- Intercept: Meet the bus at the stage to receive packages.
- Deliver: Walk or cycle to the customer’s home, hostel, or office.
- Confirm: Verify the recipient and close the order on the app.
- Recover: Keep the empty bag for the next return-loop.
Who We're Looking For
- You live or study in our target areas (e.g., JKUAT/Juja, Ruiru, or Rongai).
- You know every gate, shortcut, and landmark in your neighborhood.
- You’re polite, professional, and great at interacting with customers.
- You have a smartphone and enjoy staying active.
What you'll earn
Retainer: KSh 1000 per week (conditions apply)
Per Delivery: KSh 30 - 50 per doorstep drop-off.
Flexibility: Only take gigs when you’re already 'on the ground.'
Trust Levels: Higher ratings unlock higher-value packages and better pay.
